Angels Without Wings, Inc. is the parent 501c (3) non-profit organization that spearheaded the six monuments to Sgt Reckless; instituted the Animals Medal of Bravery and Distinguished Service Medal; the International War Animals Museum; and the monument to Lucca K458. But there are many other things we do !
Honoring those four-legged and winged heroes with America's only Medal of Bravery for animals. The brand new Distinguished Service Medal was introduced at the March 9, 2022 ceremony on Capitol Hill. House Resolution 935 was presented on February 18, 2022 in the U.S. House of Representatives to make these Congressionally mandated medals. The 3rd Medal Ceremony will be in March 2023.
